Celebrating another year of victory over Europe, Residents at HC-One’s
Mornington Hall care home embraced the company of one another as they indulged in good food.
Residents reminisced about the good bad and ugly and gave thanks and praise to those for their services, those who returned and those that are amongst the fields of gold.
Sporting the trendy union jack, Residents danced off the pies and beverages they had enjoyed before, before settling down to explore a one off VE Day documentary from the BBC.
Winding down the evening with some wartime classics on Alexa alongside the best British beverage, a cup of tea, Residents were thankful for such a wonderful day of celebrations.
“You always provide the best time,” said Resident Joan Lynne. Charles Godden also a Resident at Mornington Hall said: “'I really enjoyed myself today.”
Situated in a peaceful residential area of Manor Park in London, Mornington Hall is a friendly care home with 120 beds, offering residential, nursing, residential dementia and nursing dementia care.
