Residents embrace their green thumb with garden projectHC-One’s The Rowans care home in Coalville recently launched a new garden project for Residents.

The project includes a variety of jobs for Residents to take part in, including planting seeds in the greenhouse, tending to the vegetable patch, clearing the raised beds as well as general tasks such as weeding and tiding.

The Rowans also installed a new water feature in the garden for Residents and visitors to enjoy.

The garden project has proved to be a popular activity with the Residents, even those who do not take part in the gardening like to sit outside, enjoying the sun with an ice lolly.

Everyone is looking forward to seeing all the beautiful flowers blossom and vegetables grow throughout the summer.
