Residents, Relatives and the team at HC-One’s Kyle Court Care Home in Paisley, Renfrewshire, took part in a disco with a difference last week.
The lights went out and a silent disco took place at Kyle Court last week where all Residents, Relatives and staff enjoyed singing and dancing the afternoon away.
The team at Kyle Court encouraged all Relatives and Residents to complete their ‘Playlist for Life’ on admission and choose songs for the disco that afternoon.
Residents had a great time, commenting:
“I haven’t danced like this in years! You don’t know how many lyrics you remember until you start singing, what a great afternoon.”
Kirsty Faulds, Home Manager at Kyle Court, commented:
“Everyone was walking about smiling, thinking about all of the fun that we had; the level of engagement from the Residents for this activity has been fantastic.”
