Residents dance the afternoon away at Newton Aycliffe care homeHC-One’s St Clare’s Court Care Home in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, invited Residents and Relatives to an afternoon of entertainment by Twilight, a duo group.

Everyone had a great time singing along to music from the 1950’s and 1960’s, with quite a few of the audience getting up to dance along.

Mr Robinson and his family said how much they enjoyed the entertainment as it was from the right era for their dad and how lovely it was to see him singing along.

Refreshments were served half way through for everyone to enjoy and the Resident’s thanked the group for giving them such a good time.

Resident Joyce Teasdale commented:

“I really enjoyed the atmosphere and it was great to hear Twilight perform.”

Denise Swinburne, Wellbeing Coordinator at St Clare’s Court, commented:

“It was really nice to see the Residents from the Grace Unit singing along to their favourite songs from their younger days.”
