HC-One’s Greenfield Park Care Home in Carntyne, Glasgow, marked the start of autumn by hosting an end of summer beach party for Residents, Relatives and Colleagues.
Activities such as hook a duck, balloon tennis and much more were organised for everyone to enjoy. A photo booth complete with props was also set up to take some fun photos of the Residents and their loved ones.
The highlight of the day for the Residents was playing balloon tennis and spending time with some of the children that attended, commenting:
“It was such a great idea and I look forward to having more parties like this!”
Altogether, the Roselea Unit raised over £260 to go towards activities for the Residents – congratulations!
Mr Kirkpatrick said:
“My mum looked to be having a fantastic time and it was great to see!”
After the success of this event, the team at Greenfield Park are hoping to carry on holding themed events for the Residents.
