Residents at Elmwood House care home in Boston created a beautiful display of poppies for Remembrance Day.
In preparation of the occasion, Residents at the home coloured in poppies and a silhouette of a soldier on a large piece of paper to later be displayed on the wall.
On Remembrance Day, Colleagues and Residents gathered in the lounge at 11am to take a two minute silence in memory of those who fought in World War 1 and 2.
The afternoon continued with a reminiscence session, where Residents shared their memories of growing up during the war.
One Resident commented: “I loved making the display, it was fantastic talking about old times while we made it.”
