The arts and crafts club at HC-One’s Greenways Court care home in Consett have been busy making abstract wool art to display in the home’s recently refurbished lounge.
The art the home had displayed in the lounge prior to its recent refurbishment didn’t match the new décor, so the arts and crafts group decided to make their very own pieces to display.
Residents enjoyed making abstract wool art designs, when they were finished the home’s Maintenance Operative frames and placed the pieces on the walls in the lounge for everyone to admire.
Greenways Court Home Manager, Kinga Kowaliczek said: “We have some very talented artists, the art looks amazing and really compliments the lounges new look.”
Located on Delves Lane, Greenways Court care home offers short and long term care packages for older ladies and gentlemen that require residential care and residential memory care for those living with dementia.
