Marion Appleton, a Resident at HC-One’s Eastbourne House care home in Whitley Bay celebrated her 100th birthday on Wednesday 30th October.
To help Marion celebrate her milestone birthday, friends, family, team members and Wendy Lott, Madam Chairman of North Tyneside Council came together for a special buffet lunch with drinks.
Marion received over 150 birthday cards from well-wishers all over the UK thanks to a post in a Facebook group named ‘Postcards of Kindness’. Marion was overwhelmed with joy from all of the birthday cards, presents and good wishes she received.
