HC-One’s Roseberry Court Care Home in Redcar, Cleveland spent a day with the local community this week where they were excited to spend the day watching Wimbledon and socialising with old friends.
Everyone enjoyed an Afternoon Tea complete with cream tea, fresh fruit, strawberries and cream, fruit and cheese scones, fresh cream cakes and salmon, cucumber, egg and ham sandwiches.
Quiche and refreshments were served all day for the Residents to enjoy whilst Wimbledon was played on the big screen.
Local pupil Ragin treated everyone to a few songs and was given a standing evasion once she was finished. Afterwards, music was played in the background for anyone to enjoy a boogie.
Residents had a fantastic day, they even managed to bump into and catch up with some of their old friends, which was a lovely surprise for them.
