Residents become Pen Pals with local schoolchildrenResidents from HC-One’s Swallownest Care Home in Sheffield are testing out a new scheme and becoming pen pals with children from The Willows School.

Residents love receiving letters and scrapbooks from the children and enjoy sitting down together to read what they have received.

Home Manager, Tracy Marsden commented:

“Not all of our Residents have grandchildren so getting these letters from such lovely young people is a big highlight for them. Residents have told us how much they love hearing about the children’s interests and hobbies.”
