
At St. Margaret’s which offers residential, nursing care and residential memory care, for those living with dementia, the Residents enjoyed taking part in the HC-One’s gardening competition.
Every year, HC-One invite all their care homes throughout the UK to spruce up their outdoor spaces and compete against one another in a variety of different categories.”
Together they planted autumnal colours in the three tier containers with a selection of pansies, violas, cyclamens and colourful heather as centre pieces. The containers are now on display on the patio for all to see!
One Resident said, “The colours are beautiful, I especially like the blue pansies”.
Another Resident added, “I love taking part in this competition every year”.
Katherine Swainston, Care Home Manager said, “It is always lovely to see the staff and Residents coming together and taking part in this competition and seeing the lovely colourful containers being created”.
