The Residents at
St. Clare's Court in Newton Aycliffe which offers residential and residential memory care, for those living with dementia, enjoyed a day trip at Shildon Railway Museum.
One of the Residents had been to the museum several times before and he enjoyed being the tour guide!
After the museum, the staff and Residents went for a pub lunch, played dominos, and had a good giggle.
One of the Residents remarked, “It has been a lovely day out”.
Helen Emerson, Care Home Manager commented, “It was amazing to see the Residents have a bit of normality again”.
