Ringway Mews care home in Sharston, Wythenshawe, was visited on Friday 12th April by MP for Wythenshawe and Sale East, Mike Kane, who undertakes the role of Shadow Minister for Transport.
Residents and colleagues of the HC-One owned care home enjoyed meeting MP Mike Kane and chatting to him about what life is like at Ringway Mews – which is an integral part of the local Wythenshawe community.
MP Mike Kane and Local Councillor, Emma Taylor, introduced themselves to 20 residents, four relatives and 10 members of staff. Residents enjoyed meeting and learning about Mike, his life, and his family. They enjoyed a tour round the 150-bed nursing and dementia care home and visited the general nursing and nursing dementia communities.

“It was my pleasure to make a return visit to Ringway Mews and I had a really warm welcome. It was so lovely to chat with residents, relatives and staff about life in the home. The atmosphere was lovely, calm, and well-presented.”
Councillor Emma Taylor who was with Mike Kane MP on the visit said:
“It was a pleasure to join local MP Mike Kane at Ringway Mews. As this was my first visit, I was delighted with the warm welcome from residents and staff, and the opportunity to take a tour and speak with as many residents as possible.
“Ringway Mews is a landmark in the Sharston ward and provides a place of care for local people from across Wythenshawe and Manchester. I look forward to visiting again in the future and supporting the residents and Ringway Mews in my role as a local councillor.”
