Residents at Greenways Court, residential and residential dementia care home in Consett love trying new foods and thought trying the new spring and summer menus would be a fun afternoon.
It is always great seeing the new menus as the seasons change and the catering team like to get the thoughts on the new meals before they are implemented into the menus. It is a chance for the Residents to try new dishes and foods whilst spending time with other Residents and Colleagues.
Some of the Residents family members came along for the taster session too and as it was a good opportunity to get feedback from everyone.
Sylvia, one of the Resident involved in the taster session, commented, “It was a good idea to hold these taster sessions.”
Kinga Kowaliczek, Care Home Manager, remarked, “The Residents had a great time tasting the new menu and are keen for the new meals to be added to the menus.”
