Residents are ‘all shook up’ as Elvis visits Wigston care homeMagna care home in Wigston was delighted to welcome the King of Rock n Roll to the home as Residents enjoyed an Elvis tribute act. 

Entertainer Dave Dixon, also known as the King of Diamonds, entered the building dressed head to toe in Elvis attire, as Residents gathered together for his performance. 

Everyone enjoyed singing and dancing along to the music as Dave performed a number of all-time favourite Elvis hits. 

Residents Elsie and Constance, who both celebrated their birthday this week, were overjoyed when Elvis took it in turns to sing Happy Birthday to them, with Colleagues, Residents and Relatives joining in. 

Arthur, who is a big fan of Elvis Presley, even said that it had been the best day of his life. 

A fellow Resident commented: “The Elvis performance was fantastic, from the costume to the vocals. He performed brilliantly, I’d love to see him come back again to sing soon.”
