Residents and Colleagues celebrate as Sutton-in-Ashfield care home turns 30HC-One’s Stoneyford care home in Sutton-in-Ashfield was delighted to welcome the local community as Residents and Colleagues threw a party in honour of the home’s 30th anniversary.

To mark the anniversary, staff at Stoneyford organized some special entertainment for Residents and their families, which included a performance from local singer Natalie in the morning, followed by a thanksgiving service in the afternoon. Guests also enjoyed a fantastic buffet in celebration of the special event.

The anniversary of the home also marked an incredible 30 years of service for Wellbeing Coordinator, Marian Matthews, who has worked at Stoneyford since it first opened in 1989. Marian was presented with cards and flowers as fellow Colleagues showed their appreciation for her hard work at the home.

Keeley Morris, Home Manager at Stoneyford, said: “I am delighted to have celebrated our home’s 30th birthday with so many of our Residents and their families, as their happiness and wellbeing is our top priority at HC-One. The party was a great success, with smiles all around as we marked the anniversary together.

“Over the past 30 years, we have had the pleasure of getting to know so many different Residents and Colleagues, but our commitment has stayed the same in aiming to provide the kindest care possible to everyone living at Stoneyford.”
