Lauren Court Resident Peter Scott went to live at Lauren Court in April 2017.

Peter was born in a nursing home in Rusholme on the 28th July 1933.

Peter started writing his book 'Timperley Boy' in 2003 whilst practicing his typing and listening to the wireless. Writing Timperley Boy took approximately three years to complete.

Peters book came about when 'Memories' from the show Cats came on the television and Peter thought to himself - I could write my memories about how I lived before, during and after the war in Timperley.

The book has since been published by Churnot Valley Books.

Peter has since written another book titled The ghost of 9 Gerrard Avenue, and is awaiting publication.
