Resident scores penalty for Hearts at Celtic ParkEach week Residents of HC-One’s Greenfield Park Care Home in Carntyne, Glasgow, attend a dementia club hosted at Celtic Park.

82-year-old Lilly Ross was the lucky lady that attended earlier this month, when they received the latest invitation for one of the Resident’s to attend the Celtic vs Hearts match.

As part of the day, everyone that was invited was given a Celtic Football Club top with their name printed on the back and seated just behind the dugout.

At half time, Lilly was given the opportunity to kick a penalty on the pitch which she scored, to a massive cheer from the crowd.

Lilly really enjoyed her day and loved standing on the pitch looking out at the crowd, she commented:

“I’m a Hearts fan and they may have lost the game, but I scored for them!

I had an amazing time at Celtic Park and love my personalised top.”

Robert Murray, Senior Home Manager at Greenfield Park, commented:

“Our Residents love going to Celtic Park every week and I would like to thank them for inviting Lilly and making her feel so special on the day.”
