Resident publishes volume three of poetry seriesLaird Leslie A Rowland, a Resident at HC-One’s Pytchley Court care home in Northampton has recently completed his third volume of the published poem series titled ‘The Lairds' Poems’.

Following the death of his beloved wife and soul mate Dolly, Leslie struggled and it was only through writing poetry that he found the comfort that could ease his pain. 

Leslie has been living at Pytchley Court for the last three years and spends his days writing, during this time he has written a selection of poems about the care team at the home titled ‘My Angels’.

He also holds a prestigious title, Laird of Dunans Castle in Glendaruel, Scotland, all proceeds from the sale of his poetry books go towards the restoration of the castle. 

All of the staff at Pytchley Court are proud of Leslie and enjoy reading Leslie’s work, they say he can often be found hard at work on the computer in his room.
