Bill Jameson celebrated his 80th birthday surrounded by family, friends and fellow Residents at Defoe Court Care Home in Newton Aycliffe County Durham.
With the help from Bill’s family, some of whom are all the way in Australia, the team at Defoe Court arranged a surprise birthday party for Bill and his wife Gina.
Bill’s daughters found a local singer on Youtube who sings music from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s – Bill’s favourite eras.
He enjoyed an afternoon of singing with his family, friends and fellow Residents with lots of cake and wine, with laughter ringing out from the beginning right to the end of the party.
Gina commented:
“I can’t believe we managed to plan a surprise party, Bill and I feel so loved.”
