On 29
th August 2017, Rotherham’s HC-One Silverwood resident Doris Flintham celebrated her 100
th Birthday.
Dorris started the day with a full pamper session, including a spa treatment, and our local hairdresser visited especially for the grand occasion. She enjoyed a manicure and saw family members throughout the morning.
Staff and other resident’s family members came to see her on their day off to bring a soft bear that she cuddled and kissed, and of course brought balloons to mark the occasion.
Doris and her family enjoyed a private party in the upstairs lounge all afternoon put on by Silverwood. The whole of Silverwood marked a fabulous occasion for a wonderful lady.
Photo shows Dorris was exceptionally glamourous and thoroughly enjoyed her telegram from the Queen as she is a real Royalist.
