Ruth Highcock, a Resident at HC-One’s Beechcroft care home in Runcorn, Cheshire celebrated her 100th birthday on Monday 11th February surrounded by loved ones.
Born in St Helens in 1919 Ruth worked in a munitions factory before she married her husband Kenneth in 1943. Ruth has three children, one boy and two girls, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
To celebrate her special day, the team at Beechcroft organised an afternoon tea with special visit from the Mayor and Mayoress of Halton. Ruth was delighted when she opened her birthday card from The Queen and received birthday wishes from everyone at the home. Her family also organised a second party for Ruth’s big day which she thoroughly enjoyed.
