Colleagues and Residents recently held a celebration in honour of Joyce Smith, a Resident who has lived within the home for 15 years.
To commemorate this fantastic milestone, Joyce was gifted with a beautiful bouquet of flowers alongside a handmade memory book containing various photos and memories from the past years of her life.
A lovely cake was also prepared and a buffet provided for Residents to enjoy, whilst Joyce’s favourite singer serenaded everyone with some much loved songs, prompting them to join in by dancing and singing along.
After the event, Joyce commented: “I felt like a Queen for the day and I’m so overwhelmed with everything that has been done for me”
Sounds like a lovely day was had by all in celebration of this wonderful occasion!
