Resident’s grandsons triple win at Commonwealth Games 2018A Resident at HC-One’s Park House in Guisborough was delighted when her two medal-winning grandsons came to visit her, upon their return from the Commonwealth Games 2018.

Rosalind Porter’s was absolutely thrilled when her two grandsons, Charlie and Harry Tanfield came to visit her with their dad Stewart, Rosalind’s son.

Charlie and Harry both recently competed as cyclists in the Commonwealth Games in Australia, with Charlie taking the gold menu in the Men’s 4000 Metres Individual Pursuit as well as the silver medal in the GB Team Pursuit. Harry also won a silver medal in the Men’s Individual Time Trials.

They couldn’t wait to spend some time with their grandma and tell her all about their experience, including the prestigious lunch and ceremony at the Middlesbrough Cellnet Stadium they attended on their return.

It was clear to see how proud Rosalind was of her two grandsons, by the huge smile on her face.
Rosalind commented:

“I am unbelievably proud of them both and have never spent so much time watching TV! It’s been an absolute delight to be able to see them achieve their dreams.”

Park House’s Home Manager, Alishia Calvert commented:

“Seeing Ros with her family and sporting the medals made all of us feel so proud.”
