A relative of Verna Addison, a Resident at HC-One’s Beaconsfield Court in Durham had a fantastic idea to knit Easter bunnies to raise money for the Residents fund.
Alison Bell and Margaret Campbell, Resident Ken’s wife, together knitted and decorated the bunnies and Verna and her cousin, Christine, then stuffed them.
Together they raised an amazing £74 for the Resident’s fund.
Beaconsfield Court’s Home Manager, Anne Johnson commented:
“It was so lovely seeing all of the ladies coming together to create the Easter bunnies. A great time was had by all involved.”
