The Polegate in East Sussex, which offers nursing care, Residents enjoyed playing with some new remote-control cars that had been brought into the home.
The Residents had commented on how it had reminded them of when they were younger, playing with little toy cars – but much more advanced! Colleagues remarked how lovely it was to bring these memories back for them. They also said how their favourite part of the day was having a go at using these cars and are looking forward to racing them.
The Home Manager Daniel Bartram said “There will be further races in the coming days for them to look forward to as well, which should bring the Residents lots of fun and enjoyment!“
