Residents at
Darnley Court, nursing and nursing memory care home, in Glasgow have recently been involved in Remembrance Sunday.
The Residents at Darnley Court were kindly asked to be involved in attending a War Memorial at Nitshill, for Remembrance Sunday on the 14th of November.
The service was held to celebrate those who gave their lives for their country.
Residents and staff proudly took part in the ceremony by joining in with prayers and hymns along with local councillors, business clubs and families who all took turns in laying the poppy wreath at the Cenotaph with great pride.
All the Residents enjoyed taking part in the activities, friendship and being able to pay their respects to those who gave their lives in conflict.
Care Home Manager, Laura Scroogie, commented, “We are proud of all our Ex-service men and women and are honoured to be able to ensure they remain connected with their community.”
