HC-One’s Milliner House in Luton honoured the 100 year anniversary of Armistice Day by creating beautiful poppy displays and sharing stories of the war.
In preparation for Remembrance Sunday, Resident had an arts and crafts session where they made poppies and shared stories of their memories of the war.
One Resident, Marion shared stories of her father, who was in the Welsh Regiment, she also showed everyone his medals which she will be wearing proudly on Sunday 11th November.
Marion, a Resident at Milliner House said:
“My father was in the Welsh regiment and he was a good man. I will wear them on Sunday for him and everyone who fought in the war.”
