Remembrance day at Charters CourtHC-One’s Charters Court care home honoured Remembrance Sunday as they reflected on the war and the brave soldiers.

Residents and Colleagues sat down to sing songs and recite prayers of remembrance before enjoying afternoon tea together, complete with poppy themed cakes and treats.

Everyone sat and reminisced of their experiences during the war time, as they remembered family members lost and friends they had.

An enjoyable day was had by all, as everyone found it interesting to reminisce and discuss their lives.

Home manager, Mel Burgess, commented: “Everyone enjoyed singing the songs and reciting the prayers to remember loved ones.”
