Residents from Redesdale Court enjoy the beautiful seaside views and Whitley Bay Lighthouse.
They wanted to go for a walk to blow away the cobwebs but the weather was against them with it being too cold.
Instead the Residents and staff went on a bus trip to the lighthouse and enjoyed a little picnic of sandwiches and hot chocolate to keep warm.
The Residents commented that they had a great time.
