Residents and members of the team at HC-One’s Roseberry Court care home in Redcar paid their respects to fallen heroes on Remembrance Day.
Remembrance Day is observed by members of the Commonwealth of Nations to remember members of the military and armed forces who have died in the line of duty.
The home created a beautiful poppy display with knitted poppies that Residents have made over the last few years, a performance of war time songs from Janie St John was enjoyed by all.
Roseberry Court Home Manager, Alishia Calvert said: “We’d like to extend our thanks to everyone for joining us in remembering the selfless sacrifice of our fallen heroes.
“Some of our Residents have lost loved ones during different conflicts so it was a cathartic experience for them to remember and pay their respects.”
