On Friday 17th March at
Quarry Hall care home, in St Mellons, Cardiff, Colleagues and Residents took part in some fundraising for Comic Relief, and even welcomed a show to the home for some entertainment to be enjoyed by all.
Colleagues at the 86-bed residential, nursing and dementia care home all dressed in red for the special occasion to raise money for the cause. They also organised for Residents and Relatives to enjoy a live performance at the home from theatrical group ‘Tickled Pink’ who performed a show called ‘Fit for a King’.
The home’s kitchen team prepared a buffet lunch to go alongside the entertainment, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all! One of the Residents said, “This was a fun day!”
Colleague Aimee remarked, “It was nice to see Residents, Relatives and Colleagues all having fun together.”
