Priory mews in Dartford, which offers residential, nursing, residential dementia and nursing dementia care welcomed Jamie Steane, a quick-change artist into the home.
He took the Residents back in time performing songs from London town such ‘As Knees Up Mother brown’, he also did short performances with some old TV shows such as ‘This is your life, ‘Andy Pandy’ and ‘Watch with Mother’.
The Residents were laughing, singing along with the music and even dancing through some of the songs! Jamie told some very funny jokes that were highly appreciated by everybody.
Many of the Residents had said afterwards that “It was like a trip down memory lane” and liked “It’s a long way to the Tipperary, it’s a long way to go”.
Home Manager Rose Akem said that “Again, the wellbeing team have done a great job”.
