Quarry Hall Residents move to the beat for music therapyQuarry Hall care home in Cardiff had Residents channelling their inner musicians as they enjoyed the home’s weekly music therapy session.

Before the session began, each Resident got to choose their own percussion instrument, with maracas being a popular choice.

Residents were joined by their friends and family for the performance, which was assisted by Music Therapist's Steve’s guitar accompaniment.

One Resident commented: “I absolutely loved music therapy. It was made even better with the addition of Steve’s guitar.”

Mat James, Home Manager at Quarry Hall, said: “It was fantastic to see our Residents and their Relatives taking part in the music therapy. There were smiles all around as they chose their favourite instruments.”
