Colleagues and Residents at HC-One’s Kinnaird Manor care home in Falkirk recently enjoyed an evening of fun as they donned their cosy pyjamas and put on some classic films, as they raised money for the homes Residents fund.
To do a little something different to raise some money for the Residents fund, Colleagues had a PJ day where staff paid £2 to wear their pyjamas at work, with some Residents even joining in after finding out about the news.
The Residents really enjoyed seeing all the different funky pyjamas that the staff wore some causing lots of laughter.
"It’s nice to see a wee bit something different going on, some of these pyjamas are really very good,” said Resident Helen Neilson.
Colleagues found that this event created a really calm and relaxed atmosphere and everyone seemed to enjoy taking part. Snacks, sweets and popcorn were provided to Residents as they settled down to watch a stream of some classic Disney films.
Kinnaird Manor Care Assistant, Stacey Wilson said: “I absolutely love pyjama day, its so comfortable we should do this at least once a month.”
