Mervyn Chaddock, a Resident at HC-One’s Greengables care home in Congleton enjoys completing jigsaw puzzles which has inspired the team to set up a puzzle club.
Since moving to Greengables in 2018, Mervyn has completed a number of puzzles ranging in difficulty, from 500 to 1000 pieces. Mervyn’s passion for puzzles has inspired the team at Greengables, who are now looking to set up a puzzle club for other Residents and members for the local community to come together and work on puzzles.
The team are hoping to get people of all ages coming along to regular puzzle club meet ups, the aim is to give people the chance to socialise and help build intergenerational bonds through a shared interest.
