Colleagues at HC-One’s Maple Court care home were delighted to celebrate ‘proud to care week’ at the home, complete with a visit from Marie Curie Ambassador, Julie Gray.
Julie attended the home to speak with everyone regarding the organisation, and how proud she is to care for people each day. A stall was set up for Marie Curie, with information for all to read and look at.
Residents, Relatives and Colleagues took part in the event, as they each enjoyed an afternoon tea complete with cupcakes, brownies and sandwiches, as well as a variety of refreshments.
A raffle was held for Residents to take part in, with some winning wonderful prizes, sharing their joy with one another. Hayley Rix, home manager, commented: “Everyone has really enjoyed themselves, it has been a wonderful afternoon spent with Marie Curie.”
