HC-One’s Meadow Bank care home in Preston hosted their annual memorial service with a special memorial Christmas tree to commemorate those who have passed in 2018.
For the last ten years, Meadow Bank has held a memorial service to remember those who have passed away. This year, the service was led by Reverend Dave Thompson and included reflective music, prayers, the blessing of the tree angels and two poems were read.
Residents, Relatives and Colleagues at Meadow Bank are all invited to write cards to be placed on the memorial tree to remember loved ones who are no longer with us.
After the service, everyone gathered for mince pies, sherry and mulled wine, Residents commented that it was a touching service and how they thought it was important to remember those who have passed.
