Pottery class at Averill House
Residents at Averill House care home recently enjoyed a pottery painting class. Painting is a brilliant way for those living with dementia to relax and work on motor skills.

The ladies each chose a pot and set about painting it. Afterwards they handed the pots over to be glazed and fired and they will be picked up after a week for them to keep as an ornament.

The Residents had a lovely time and enjoyed the crafty time whilst chatting and drinking tea.
