Port Talbot care home commemorates war heroes and 100 years of ArmisticeResidents and staff at Plas Cwm Carw care home in Port Talbot paid their respects to war heroes and celebrated 100 years since the end of World War II with a commemorative service at the home.

Nursing Assistant, Rebecca Rees and Care Assistants Claire Monaghan and Rachael Williams helped Residents to make poppies to create a beautiful remembrance display on a tree outside of the home.

Remembrance Day is a memorial day observed in Commonwealth of Nations member states since the end of the First World War to remember the members of their armed forces who have died in the line of duty.
