Residents at HC-One’s Tranent care home in Tranent were delighted to meet two beautiful therapy ponies, Flicker and Applekjack on Thursday 1st August.
The two ponies spent quality time with everyone in the home, starting in the lounges before heading to some Residents bedrooms, even those on the first floor. Everyone enjoyed meeting the lovely animals, some were amused to discover that the ponies were happy to get in the lift to visit Residents upstairs.
Residents commented on how friendly the ponies were and they are all looking forward to the ponies’ next visit. One Resident commented: “I just loved spending time with the ponies, they bring back fond memories of my younger days and can bring a smile straight to my face.”
