Ivy Wenham, who is a Resident at The Polegate care home in East Sussex, got front row seats to her granddaughter’s proposal today.
Granddaughter Nicky didn't want her Nan to miss out on the big event, her partner Shelley knew how much this meant to her and therefore she was proposed to at the foot of the driveway at The Polegate so that Ivy could see the wonderful news first hand!
Ivy then sang a song down the phone to Nicky to celebrate and got to see the sparkling engagement ring (pictured). She loved being able to see them so happy in love
