One of the Nurse Assistants at The Polegate care home in East Sussex, Dianne Stevens, decided to bring their pet dog in to meet the Residents and he was very well fussed over!
Charlie, a King Charles Spaniel, came into the home to undertake some very well-mannered one-to-one therapy with the Residents.
“What a great looking tie - very smart,” complimented one of the Residents while giving Charlie a good ear scratch.
They all adored him and he enjoyed the attention especially being able to stroke and hold Charlie who was very content.
A few Residents didn’t want to give Charlie back, saying, “Isn’t he cute, can I keep him?”
Emma Rich-Spice, who is the Home Manager, remarked, “Charlie came into the home and he gave many smiles to all!”
