Polegate care home celebrates success in CQC reportHC-One’s The Polegate care home in Polegate, East Sussex is celebrating having received a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). 

The team at The Polegate were delighted to have received an impressive CQC report that rated the home as ‘Good’ in all areas, demonstrating that the home is providing high standards of care for residents in an environment that is Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsible, and Well-Led.

The inspectors were full of praise for colleagues at The Polegate, highlighting the kind ways in which they provide care for residents at the home. This sentiment was echoed by residents, who made remarks such as "the staff are very helpful”, “they are very kind, caring and patient" and that the environment is “very caring” with relatives also remarking that the staff are “lovely and always smiling.”

Inspectors commented on the level of support that was provided to residents to ensure they were able to take part in activities and hobbies they enjoyed, with the home offering a large variety of activities to accommodate for different interests.
