Residents at Somerset’s residential, residential dementia, nursing dementia and nursing care home,
Catherine House, have been spending an afternoon planting some flowers.
Today, a few Residents, including John Lane, John Bishton and Hilary Crabtree, spent the afternoon planting flowers in the home’s new hanging baskets.
John L took control of the planter whilst John B and Hilary tended to the hanging baskets.
There was a lot of pride that went into these baskets to make them look pretty for the front of the building and back garden.
John was so happy, that in doing this it had brought back some lovely "green fingered memories" for him from the past as he used to love being in the garden at home.
The home’s manager took time to view the lovely work and commented, “Wow! That’s really beautiful. Great job everyone!”
