Residents at HC-One’s
Winters Park care home in Penrith enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of making homemade pizzas.
Everyone came together to make their very own pizza, each Residents spread the homemade marinara sauce over their pizza base and chatted about Italy as they selected their favourite topping combinations.
Once they had made their pizzas, the kitchen team cooked them and everyone tucked in to their homemade creations for their tea. One Resident reminisced: “I used to make pizza for my grandchildren, it brought back so many happy memories.”
Winters Park Home Manager, Kate Lewis said: “Everyone’s pizzas looked and smelt delicious, it was lovely to see so many different toppings.”
