Residents at April Park care home in Eckington were delighted to showcase their inner chefs by making homemade pizza for dinner.
Beryl, Audrey and Marjorie joined in with the cooking session after Residents collectively decided that they would like pizza making for dinner.
The trio selected their favourite toppings and got to work, helping to knead the dough, sprinkle the cheese and top the pizzas with a variety of meat and vegetables.
One Resident commented: “I really enjoyed helping to make the pizza and can’t wait to taste them later!”
Gail Wardle, Home Manager at April Park, said: “The Residents thoroughly enjoyed making the pizzas! It was a great success, especially when they got to try their tasty treats.”
