Seven Residents from HC-One’s Grampian Court care home in Peterlee enjoyed some fresh coastal air at Saltburn on Wednesday 28th August.
A group of Residents headed to the picturesque seaside of Saltburn for a stroll along the promenade and a traditional fish and chip lunch. Residents watched as children and dogs played in the sea and speedboats cruised through the water.
Everyone headed a local fish and chip shop for a traditional seaside lunch, Residents commented that they could taste that the fish was freshly caught and delicious. A great time was had by all, one Resident said: “What a fantastic day out, I loved the fresh sea air and the fish and chips were beautiful.”
Kay Rudd, Home Manager at Grampian Court said: “The smiles on everyone’s faces as they returned to Grampian Court said it all, I am so glad that our Residents enjoyed their day at the seaside.”
