A Resident at HC-One’s Grampian Court care home in Peterlee celebrated her 83rd birthday on April 26th and was treated by the staff at the home.
Grampian Court Resident Margaret turned 83 on Saturday the 26th of April and celebrated her birthday was lots of cake and tea, which she shared with the other Residents who had to stay in their own rooms.
Throughout the day, staff and Residents enjoyed a sing a long from their rooms, which Margaret joined in with as she snacked on her chocolate treats and enjoyed very much, “I love the chocolate, thank you so much,” she said.
The celebrations come at a time when Residents and staff could do with a lift and what better way than to have a sing a long and some cake with your friends.
Grampian Court Home Manager Emma Hume said: “It’s great to see our Residents happy and celebrating their birthday with us, all the Residents in the unit have said what a lovely day it has been.”
