Peterborough home enjoys success in CQC reportHC-One’s The Gables Care Home in Whittlesey, Peterborough, is celebrating success having received a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The team at The Gables was delighted to have received an impressive CQC report that rated the home as “Good” overall, demonstrating that the home is providing high standards of care for Residents and that it is Caring, Safe, Effective, Responsive and Well-led.

The CQC’s report was glowing with praise for the team at The Gables, highlighting colleagues’ compassionate, caring nature. The team were commended for always going above and beyond to put a smile on Residents’ faces. 

Relatives at The Gables reflected the CQC’s praise in their own comments, with one telling inspectors that “The staff here are amazing, I really don’t know how they do their job. They are so kind and patient with everyone and all the time”, and another highlighting how welcome they feel when visiting their loved one, “Everyone here is like an extension to our family.”
